The Partials Sequence is a young adult post-apocalyptic science fiction trilogy about genetically engineered soldiers and regular humans who survived a virus that wiped out more than 99% of the population. Dan Wells weaves an exciting plot with some likeable characters, and though the series is dark, I think it is ultimately hopeful about humanity.
