The first InterGalactic Medicine Show Awards Anthology is out, and my story “The Robot Sorcerer” is in it.
My story did not win an InterGalactic award, because it came out before the award was instituted. (Notice how confident I am that it would have won an award, had it existed at the time.) But I’m very happy to be included with the winners and other great authors. The full list of stories is:
- “Trinity County, CA” by Peter S. Beagle, from issue #18
- “Sister Jasmine Brings the Pain” by Von Carr, from issue #17
- “The Ghost of a Girl Who Never Lived” by Keffy R. M. Kehrli, from issue #19
- “The American” by Bruce Worden, from issue #20
- “Silent as Dust” by James Maxey, from issue #7
- “Horus Ascending” by Aliette deBodard, from issue #8
- “End-of-the-World Pool” by Scott M. Roberts, from issue #12
- “A Heretic by Degrees” by Marie Brennan, from issue #10
- “The Never Never Wizard of Apalachicola” by Jason Sanford, from issue #20
- “Beautiful Winter” by Eugie Foster, from issue #13
- “Blood & Water” by Alethea Kontis, from issue #9
- “Mean-Spirited” by Edmund R. Schubert, from issue #16
- “The Robot Sorcerer” by Eric James Stone, from issue #10
- “Aim For The Stars” by Tom Pendergrass, from issue #15
The anthology is available from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and probably your local bookstore, if you ask them nicely.
